Vision

Kantipur City College lays special stress on producing human resources to meet the challenges of contemporary times through transmitting knowledge and skills to the students. Its focus on student-centric innovative education, training and career build-up has been instrumental in facilitating its graduates to compete well in the market.

 

 Facilities

KCC offers state-of-the-art technology and best infrastructure within its campus. Students have access to all the resources and equipments necessary for study and research.

Computer Center
KCC incorporates a well-equipped computer center comprising of 100 computers networked together with a high-speed backbone (100 mbps). This center provides students access to various computing facilities and services from 6:00 to 20:00 hrs. Services that are embedded at KCC`s intranet are:

A 24 hrs high-speed Internet Connectivity through a dedicated radio link facilitates students for an easy access to Internet.

An Electronic Library , a repository of various books and research papers in digital form, provides flexible searching and listing of unlimited information.

An Online Lecture System , a virtual classroom runs on top of intranet system at KCC computer center, where lecture notes, assignments and other reference materials are posted and collected.

A well structured Student Information System runs on KCC intranet where students log on to collect their academic reports, teachers log on to feed academic grading of students, and management log on to keep closer look on students` academic progress.

An active Discussion board , running on the intranet, helps KCC family for prompt and efficient internal communication and effective interaction.

Library & Resources Center

The Librarian works with the Learning Resources Committee and individual faculty to collect print and non-print resources. The collection emphasizes on Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information System, Business Administration, etc.

Sports & Recreation  

KCC provides good numbers of sports facilities like- Table Tennis, Badminton, Cricket, Football, etc. Students participate in Media club, Sports club and Cultural club. It keeps the spirit of sports and extra-curricular activities alive and kicking.

Every year KCC organizes an Inter-College Cricket Tournament, KCC Running Trophy. Twelve different colleges, affiliated to Purbanchal University, competed for KCC Running Trophy-2003.
